Marvel’s Wolverine Worldwide Sales Top 2.4 Million

Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed during its latest financial results overnight that Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Wolverine has sold 2.4 million units worldwide as of November 4, 2026.

As previously reported, the console maker also revealed that shipments for the PS5 have hit 97.9 million units worldwide, and that development of its next-generation system is ‘progressing as scheduled.’

Marvel’s Wolverine launched exclusively for the PS5 on September 15, 2026, and you can read our full verdict on the game here. In the UK, Marvel’s Wolverine gave Sony its biggest physical launch sales of 2026 up to that point, and in the US the game topped the software charts for September.

Marvel’s Wolverine is a standalone entry based on the popular anti-hero, telling a self-contained story while sharing continuity with other Marvel worlds established by Insomniac. Players control James ‘Logan’ Howlett, aka Wolverine (played by Liam McIntyre), a mutant with regenerative healing powers and retractable claws that embarks a globe-trotting journey as he brushers shoulders with other iconic characters such as Mystique, Omega Red, and the Sentinels.
