Sony has released the PS Store download charts for the month of October 2026, and PS5's bestsellers make for interesting reading.
Well, sort of. It's no shock to learn that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has taken the top spot in both North America and Europe, but a touch more surprising is what's going on beneath it.
A handful of new releases have muscled their way into PS5's top 20 in both regions.
Taking second place in NA, and third in EU, is BeamNG.drive — the early access physics-based driving sim. It seems it's gotten off to a strong start, outselling the vast majority of other October games across both regions.
Aside from CoD, only EA Sports FC 27 could outpace BeamNG (in Europe); other big hits like Phantom Blade Zero didn't do the same.
Other October releases popping up in the charts are Peak (seventh in US, sixth in Europe), Star Wars: Galactic Racer (eighth in both regions), and Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve (ninth in US, 14th in Europe).
It's been a pretty packed month, hasn't it? So many new titles have launched throughout October, and many of them have sold well enough to show up in PS Store's charts. However, I'm not sure many of us were anticipating BeamNG.drive being one of the month's top sellers.
